The MMIST Launch-PADS Multi-Mission Manager offers an advanced mission planning environment which can be used to plan a multitude of different mission scenarios, including Sherpa™ PADS System release footprints, Unguided High/Low Velocity CDS CARPs (Calculated Air Release Points), as well as Personnel CARP/HARP (High Altitude Release Point) points.
Launch-PADS™ offers users the flexibility to plan any combination of modern airdrop scenarios, presenting concise release point/footprint for the specific mission at hand.
The system features an optional Meteorological DropSonde & Cargo Bay GPS Retransmission System, allowing aircrews to confidently increase standoff distance and more accurately deliver CDS cargo and personnel from high altitudes. The system allows aircrews to obtain precise meteorological data moments before airdrop, allowing them to determine and/or refine the release points for their specific cargo.
