Modules to Support All Mission Types

LaunchPADS™ Mission Planning base system consists of a ruggedized laptop computer, allowing it to be used in any environment. It can be paired with a number of optional MMIST systems, which work together to provide the user with a fully integrated mission management system for a wide range of operations.

  • Sherpa™ Guided Parachute Mission Planning (Standard): Full feature support for the planning, uploading, and debriefing of missions for Sherpa™ HALO/HAHO Precision Aerial Delivery Systems
  • Personnel Parachute Mission Planning (Multi-Parachute Module): Full mission planning support for parachutist CARP (Calculated Aerial Release Points), supporting HALO/HAHO operations (specific parachute characterization is required for systems not in our inventory)
  • Unguided Parachute Mission Planning (Multi-Parachute Module): Full feature support for the planning, execution support, and debriefing of missions by calculating CARPs and providing Green Light Points (GLPs) for unguided systems, including LCADS, CCP-35, T10/MC1-1, G12, 28′ chutes, G13 (specific parachute characterization is required for systems not in our inventory)
  • Drop Sondes System (Wind Sonde Module): The Drop Sondes system provides up to the minute wind data collection for enhanced release point planning, allowing aircrew to measure local winds and use the collected data to improve CARP accuracy
  • GPS Redistributor (Optional): The GPS redistributor system can be used to provide GPS information to Sherpa systems and other Wi-Fi enabled devices in areas where GPS signals struggle to penetrate, such as inside an airplane.  The redistributed GPS signal shortens GPS re-acquisition time for GPS guided systems, and provides greater flexibility when using LaunchPADS™ inside the aircraft cargo bay
