  • Parachute Rigger (Contract Position)

    MMIST is a provider of Precision Aerial Delivery products and services including the Sherpa family of GPS guided parafoils and the self-launch capable SnowGoose unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), along with mission planning tools, services, and support equipment.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Inspect and pack parachutes for civilian and military parachute systems
    • Perform repairs to civilian and military parachute systems
    • Assemble parachute products by reading blueprints and work instructions, including the use of measuring devices (scales, calibers etc.) without guidance
    • Perform sheet metal riveting and grommeting functions using hand tools

     

    Qualification/Experience Required:

    • Minimum of 10 years of prior experience
    • High degree of sewing proficiency

     

    Education:

    • Degree Requirement: High school diploma, or equivalent
    • FAA Parachute Rigging Airman Certificate (Senior or Master)

  • Software Systems Developer / Designer (Unmanned Aerial Systems)

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement real-time software applications and drivers.
    • Test and troubleshoot embedded systems including custom hardware and RTOS.
    • Produce technical and other design documentation.

    Required Qualifications

    • Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
    • C expertise. C++ proficiency. Object-oriented design.
    • RTOS and real-time software development experience.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Embedded systems experience. Board-level hardware understanding.

    Desirable Qualifications

    • Avionics and flight management systems experience.
    • Aerospace and Defense familiarity.
    • LynxOS/Linux/Unix and Windows proficiency.
    • Networking and communications knowledge.
    • Software configuration management tool proficiency.
    • Process oriented software development (ISO, DO-178B, etc).

     JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Provide technical leadership for development of test and integration strategies in support of timely product delivery;
    • Development of system level and software test documentation & procedures;
    • Develop automation infrastructure and regression test strategies;
    • Testing & Troubleshooting real-time embedded software, Android;
    • Requirements traceability.

     QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;
    • Minimum 5 years experience in System Test;
    • Minimum 5 years experience with real-time software testing for embedded systems;
    • Minimum 5 years experience testing Windows and Android based application software;

    Job Description

    • Month-end and year-end financial reporting
    • Liaising with auditors, bank and investors
    • Budget and forecast preparation
    • Supervising staff
    • Cash flow monitoring, forecasting and management
    • Project costing
    • Management of all aspects of financial accounting system

    Qualifications

    • Accounting designation
    • 5+ years in financial reporting
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to obtain a Level II Secret Security Clearance

    In addition it is desirable if the successful candidate has the following additional experience:

    • Excel, Word etc.
    • Knowledge of Epicor (Vantage) or similar ERP software

  • Android Developer (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)

We are looking for talented and entrepreneurial individuals to join our collaborative and fun team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Develop and maintain Mission Planning / Flight Management applications written for Android platforms.
    • Design and develop simulation systems, make strategic technology choices, and directly supervise the quality of designs and implementation
    • Take on a leadership role in the full software development process, including requirements definition, implementation, verification, and support

    The successful candidate must have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
    • Experience with GUI/Front End Design, Human Machine Interface (HMI)
    • Experience developing Wireless Networking applications
    • Experience with simulation, mapping, GIS, or other graphical applications
    • 8+ years of development experience in the software industry
    • 5+ years of experience programming in C++, C#, .NET or Java
    • 2+ years experience developing for Android platforms
    • Experience in human factor design, usability testing and user interface optimization.
    • Excellent English written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Strong technical leadership skills
    • Strong systems experience in the Windows environment
    • Fulfill the requirements necessary to obtain a Canadian security clearance

    In addition it is desirable if the successful candidate has the following additional experience:

    • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense market.
